CPCB Vacancy 2025 Application Fee
Exam Type Application Fee
2-hour exam ₹750 + ₹250 (test fee) = ₹1000
1-hour exam ₹350 + ₹150 (test fee) = ₹500
SC, ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and Women are not required to pay exam fee. Only others have to pay it.
Eligibility Criteria for CPCB Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification for CPCB Vacancy 2025:
- Scientist B: For this post, the applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering/Tech (Environmental, Civil, IT, etc.) or master’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Microbiology.
- Assistant Law Officer: The candidate for this recruitment must also have 5 years of legal experience along with LLB.
- Clerical Posts (LDC/UDC): For this post, the applicant must also be 12th pass/graduate with typing skills.
- MTS and Field Attendant: For this, the candidate must be 10th pass/ITI pass.
- Technical and Assistant Posts: For this, you must have a degree/diploma in relevant field with experience.
CPCB 2025 Recruitment Age Limit:
- This recruitment candidate age limit is prescribed as per the post:
- Scientist B: Upto 35 years
- Group B & C Posts: Mostly 27-30 years
- Clerk, MTS & Technician: 18 to 27 years

CPCB 2025 Recruitment Selection Process
The selection of candidates for this job will be done in the following 4 stages:
- Written Exam: For this, you will first have to go through a written exam.
- Skill Test: After getting selected in the written exam, you will have to give a skill test (typing/computer/translation – for some posts).
- Interview: After passing the written exam, you will be called for an interview (only for Group A posts like Scientist B)
- Document Verification: After passing these rough stages you will be called for document verification
