Eligibility Criteria for CISF Constable Tradesman 2025
To apply for these posts, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria, which is given below:
Educational Qualification for CISF Constable Tradesmen Jobs 2025
- For Skilled Trades (Cook, Cobbler, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Carpenter, Electrician, Painter, Welder, Gardener, Charge Mechanic, MP Attendant): Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board is mandatory for this recruitment. ITI trained candidates will be given preference.
- For Unskilled Trade (Sweeper): Matriculation (10th pass) from any recognized board is mandatory.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 23 Years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 Years after relaxation from military service
Physical Standards
For Male Candidates:
- Height: 170 cm
- Chest: 80-85 cm (5 cm expansion)
For Female Candidates:
- Height: 157 cm
- Chest: Not Applicable
Relaxation is available for SC/ST and some hill area candidates as per rules.
Selection Process for CISF Tradesmen Recruitment 2025
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test
- Documentation and Trade Test
- Written Exam (OMR/CBT Based)
- Medical Test
1.) Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Male Candidates: 1.6 Km run in 6 minutes 30 seconds is mandatory for men.
- Female Candidates: 800 meter run in 4 minutes is mandatory for women.
2.) Documentation and Trade Test
- Candidates who qualify the PET/PST will be called for document verification. Trade test will be conducted as per the trade applied for.
3.) Written Exam
- Mode: OMR-based/Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Marks: 100

- Elementary Mathematics
- Analytical Aptitude

Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- UR/EWS/Ex-Servicemen: 35%

4.) Medical Test
- After qualifying the written exam, candidates will have to undergo a medical test (DME) to ascertain if they meet the required medical standards and only then will they be selected.
